Where we work

We're based in downtown Rochester and work throughout Oakland County and Metro Detroit. Past hospitality projects include the Fisher Theater Lounge in Detroit and Single Barrel Social in Brighton.

Our role

We work as general contractor or construction manager, from pre-construction and budgeting through permits, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and closeout. Our in-house millwork and custom-finishes teams build bars, back-bars, built-ins, and feature finishes, including plaster and tadelakt.

Working with owners and design teams

We join projects early to price the design and plan the build around your budget and opening date. Design partners on our hospitality work include Ron and Roman (Single Barrel Social) and Design Ideology (Fisher Theater Lounge).

How a hospitality project runs

  1. Pre-construction and budget. Scope, pricing, and schedule built around your opening date.

  2. Permits and site. Permitting, site work, and utility coordination.

  3. Build-out. Construction managed by a dedicated project manager.

  4. Millwork and finishes. Bars, built-ins, and finishes from our own teams.

  5. Inspections and turnover. Punch list, inspections, and handover.

Hospitality projects

  • Single Barrel Social, Brighton: an existing restaurant converted into a restaurant and bourbon bar, with major site, road, and utility upgrades. General contractor and construction manager. Completed 2019.

  • Fisher Theater Lounge, Detroit: a guest lounge for Nederlander Detroit in the landmark Fisher Building, designed by Design Ideology. General contractor. Completed 2019.
