This client came to us after experiencing an unfortunate kitchen flood and needed help not only restoring the space, but reimagining it to be better than ever. They shared details about what they had loved in their original kitchen—particularly the layout—as well as their vision for improvements. One key change was transforming a hallway off the kitchen, previously used as pantry storage, into a beverage bar perfect for entertaining and morning coffee.

By blending their favorite elements with thoughtful updates, we replaced the old cabinetry with all-new flush inset cabinets that honor the home's farmhouse style. The centerpiece of the kitchen is a stunning natural walnut island, which adds warmth and character to the space. We carried the walnut detail into the new beverage bar, featuring custom cabinetry and a bespoke metal floating shelving unit. To balance form and function, we designed the bar area with full-height cabinetry—one serving as a dedicated pantry, and the other housing a coffee station with pocket doors for convenient access and the option to close it off when not in use.
